  1. AAWWW That's sooo cute!!!!!!!!! I know how important that is. According to the Bartenurah "buying a friend" means that if you think a person would be a good friend for you, you should buy them.

  2. Rashi says that although you should make friends with some Sfarim (because what better friend is Torah?), it's important to have some (human) friends. It's better to have friends because think about how much more Torah you could learn with him? Make a chavruta! Together, you could learn more from each other than you could possibly do on your own. Rashi also says to get these friends and Chavruta, you should buy them Sfarim of Torah. This will help sustain and encourage your Torah learning.

  3. That's awesome! Rambam also adds that you should seek out Torah scholars to be your friends because it adds you to the chain that passes on the Torah throughout the generations! How important is that?!?! Super important! And what's important without having money invested into it! NOTHING! Therefore, you must invest not only money into your friendships (by buying them Sfarim) but also your time and effort! Spend time with people to be friends with them
